Full Time Temporary Educational Assistant

St. Gregory Catholic School is a K - 4 School

St. Gregory Catholic School in Hinton, AB is currently seeking an  Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic, developmental, and social/emotional/behavioral needs.  Strong organizational and intrapersonal skills are required.

The assignment is to begin August 26, 2022 and ends June 30, 2023 of the 2022-2023 school year.

Qualifications recommended are as follows:

• Skills and/or training with supporting students with a variety of needs including behavioral, developmental and academic
• Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
• Experience working with students with diverse needs
• Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate
• Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
• Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate is an asset
